Add vibrancy to your events programme with one of the most exciting creations of the British arts scene. Samyo is a wonderful spectacle, with the colourful melodies and rhythms of South Asia exploding with the energy of wonderful young musicians.

Performances
The Samyo musicians number up to 20 on stage at once, and this is a unique sight in South Asian music. Dressed beautifully in the traditional Indian style, the musicians play a combination of North and South Indian music, as well as exciting new pieces influenced by world music. The percussion group of Samyo also performs separately, presenting scintillating rhythms on a variety of fascinating instruments. Your audiences will witness a musical presentation that is not only rare in the UK, but also all over the world, making Samyo an exclusively British creation.

Education
The Samyo members are experienced in providing workshops and demonstrations of their instruments and playing styles. Young musicians, orchestras and audiences of all ages will benefit from seeing the instruments at first hand, and an “Appreciating Indian Music” workshop, or a demonstration with the experience of trying out the beautiful Indian instruments can be arranged as part of the Samyo package.
